Located at the KEZAR LAKE MARINA at The Narrows on beautiful Kezar Lake, the LOON'S NEST offers family dining in either our
air-conditioned interior restaurant, or on either of two decks overlooking the lake. We offer a wide variety of fare, including our most popular appetizer, the Blobster, to fresh boiled lobster, steamers, and other seafood (either fried or broiled) or chicken dishes.

For the children, we offer a "Kid's Menu", along with our popular coloring contest for kids of all ages. Kids love to see their artwork posted on our dining room walls! You won't find a more family-friendly restaurant on the lake.

Our pizza, topped with a multitude of fresh vegetables, meats, and seafood of your choice is homemade from a recipe developed for us by a Parisian-trained chef, as is our popular Loon's Nest Clam Chowder.

Ever hear of fried lobster? That's another specialty of the house! Try it! You'll love it!

While reservations for dining in the evening are not mandatory, due to the popularity of our restaurant during the summer (especially out on the decks!), they are recommended. Also, reservations enable us to better serve large groups in an efficient manner to make your experience one to remember in the best way possible.

The dining room and decks are open every evening from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, seven nights a week, from the third weekend in June through Sunday of Labor Day weekend.
The LOON EXPRESS is open daily for take-out or dining at a picnic table or on the deck from noon to 3:00 PM.

Our ICE CREAM WINDOW is open daily from noon to 9:00 PM.

BLOBSTERS® (our trademark appetizers!) - Awesome! A secret Loon's Nest recipe.
LOON'S NEST NACHOS - Fried tortilla chips smothered in melted cheese and topped with chopped tomatoes, olives, peppers, onions and jalapenos. Served with sour cream.
HOME MADE ONION RINGS - The best ever! A heaping basket of hand sliced onions fried in a seasoned breading.
SPUD SKINS - Deep fried potato skins topped with cheddar cheese and bacon, served with sour cream.

MUSSELS - Succulent mussels steamed in wine, garlic and spices.

Salads

LOBSTER SALAD - Our garden salad served with a generous portion of lobster meat and your choice of dressings.
GARDEN SALAD - Crisp romaine lettuce topped with tomatoes, onions, green peppers, mushrooms and broccoli. Add chicken or shrimp if you like.
CAESAR SALAD - Crisp romaine lettuce coated with Caesar and topped with parmesan cheese and croutons. Add chicken or shrimp if you like.

Our dressings include: ranch, Caesar, honey mustard, balsamic vinagrette, bleu cheese, Italian, and our house dressing.

FRIED LOBSTER - A very unique and special treat! Generous pieces of lobster meat deep fried to perfection. Comes with your choice of 2 sides.
BOILED LOBSTER - Fresh Maine lobster prepared in the classic style with drawn butter, and your choice of 2 sides.
FRIED CAPTAIN'S PLATTER - Includes haddock, clams, scallops and shrimp. Comes with your choice of 2 sides.
FRIED MATE'S PLATTER - Includes smaller portions of the Captain's Platter and 1 side.
HADDOCK FILET - This fresh choice is one of our most popular. Served fried or broiled with 2 sides.
SHRIMP DINNER - Broiled or fried. Served with 2 sides and cocktail sauce.
SCALLOP DINNER - Broiled or fried. Served with 2 sides and tartar sauce.
CLAM DINNER - Deep fried whole clams served with 2 sides.

LOBSTER ROLL - a generous portion of clear lobster meat served on a bed of lettuce on a toasted bun. Your choice of mayonnaise or drawn butter.
FRIED HADDOCK SANDWICH - A filet of haddock served with lettuce on a toasted ciabatta roll.
CERTIFIED ANGUS "THICK AND JUICY" 6 OZ HAMBURGER - Served with lettuce & tomato on a toasted roll. Add cheese or bacon if you like.
